Congratulations on taking the first step toward exhibiting your artworks at Lumière on Rails: Modern Europe 2025! We can’t wait to see your creativity!
Please keep in mind of the following requirements:
Maximum of 3 artworks are allowed for submission. The order does NOT matter.
There are absolutely NO limitations on the artist’s nationality. We invite applicants from around the world to apply!
MoNA will only consider artworks that are easy-to-transport. Artworks on glass or other easily breakable materials will not be considered. If your artworks contain a frame, the frame will have to be removable for transportation purposes. We will re-frame your work once it arrives at the destination.
MoNA values originality. While we understand true innovation is rare in today's art landscape, we require all submissions to be authentically your own creation - works born from your unique perspective and artistic journey, not derivative reproductions.
Please confirm that your artworks do not contain forbidden materials to international trade, such as ivory, endangered animal species, endangered woods, etc.
Indication of your location is only for transportation purposes.
What MoNA promises:
MoNA will pay for 100% of the transportation fees of your artworks, including the round trip of your artworks from Paris to China. All artworks will be sent to China from Paris, France. If your artwork is not located in Paris, you may have to pay for the transportation fees from your location to Paris and back.
If your artworks are selected, MoNA will display and sell your works. If your artwork sells, MoNA will retain 20% of the final sale price as service fees. If your artwork does not sell, your work will return to you within 60 days after the exhibition is over with no extra charges.
